Meomye

I have an old galvanised washtub that I want to use as a planter. Should I put the soil directly in it and plant up or put a pot in it? I was assuming that over time the damp soil would rot it if I plant straight in to it? I would love to see some examples of your old tubs etc. thank you.

As long as you drill drainage holes and put rocks in the bottom,  l think you should be okay.
