It also looks like a young Helenium, maybe one of the yellow ones.

Campanula persicifolia, I think. If it is, it'll be pushing up flower spikes soon so you could leave it and see what happens.

I have Campanula Persicifolia( peach leaved bell flower) in my garden. If you break a leaf it will have milky white sap.
