Roses

I purchased a bush rose last year and, although, it was healthy not a single flower. This year it appears to be thriving but so far no sign of buds. Am I a little early? or is this a repeat of last year.
Any ideas?

Can you give a bit more information please Bob ?
Which variety is it, and whereabouts are you (just a rough location will do).
When you say buds, l assume you're referring to flower buds rather than leaves, in which case it is a bit early.

My roses don't have flower buds yet, too soon. They are starting to grow leaves. Have you fed your rose?

Hi. Thanks. Yes I have fed it and realise it is a bit early for buds, but I was wondering if it will be the same as last year, when my wife bought it, no buds or any sign of flower development at all.

You will have to wait and see.
