    Looks like I will not be growing any this year. I would trust the folks on here, but you don't know what you are getting from fleabay. :)

    Ebay isn't your only option ... as you're making a long term investment for the next ten or twenty years, I would buy decent crowns from a reputable nursery.  This place has been around for a good long while and has remarkably good reviews,
