Growing potatoes in pots

Im growing potatoes for the first time in black potatoes growing pots, can I grow anything above the potatoes?

There’s not enough time. Within about 8 weeks the potato haulms will completely fill the top of the pot leaving no space for anything else. Even something that grows really quickly like radishes will not work because every time potato leaves sprout above ground you have to cover them with a couple of inches more of compost until you reach the top of the pot. Radishes could not cope with being repeatedly buried.
