Which Plant

Could someone tell me what this plant is called please. It is not looking too good where it is at the moment so not the best picture.

It looks like the wood rush to me, unfortunately. If it is I'm sorry to say that it's an invasive plant that seeds easily and is difficult to dig out if left. There's lots of it in the woodland next to me.

Thankyou for your reply. I was planning on digging it out and thinning out the plant to put in different places but after what you've told me I think I will just get rid of it thats if I can manage to get it our of the ground. Thankyou so much for your help.

    I'd agree- Luzula.
I like it, but it can take over a bit in the right spot. Probably something else you could have which would be better for you @claudeine  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I couldn't live anywhere else @claudeine, although Inverness is quite different from where I am, and from where that photo was taken. That's the beauty of our country though.  :)
Hope you had a wee trip down the loch to see our resident monster  ;)
