I need, at long last, to replace my trusty border fork.  Looking online and elsewhere, I can only find ones with 'blunt' tines.  I am looking for one with sharp pointed tines and with no curve.  I wonder if pointy ones have been discontinued because of H&S?  Really hope not.

I have a very old wilkinson sword one, a quick look on the website seems to show they have pointy ends!

Thank you Zugenie. I've had a look at Wilkinson website but it's not easy to see how the ends taper.  I'm fussy!  Want the taper to the point to be gradual, from, say, 4" from the point, if you see what I mean, not a sudden drop off to a less-than-sharp point.  Basically I suppose I'm looking for a lethal weapon such as might be used in Midsomer Murders!
I will have to trawl around the nurseries and garden centres to see the forks in the flesh.

Sneeboer forks are very jabby. They’re expensive, but extremely good.

It does look good though, more pointy than any others I've seen, but one tine is out of alignment.  I shall 'watch' it.  Meanwhile will look at Ben Cotto's suggestion (never heard of Sneerboer before)
