Subscriber seed packet empty

HI, Ive tried cpntacting the magazine by email and twitter and no response, my seed packets in march issue were caught in the envelope seal and were cut across the middle and arrived empty. How do I get them replaced or get Gardeners world to respond

A good old fashioned letter is often successful.🙂

How annoying. Do you mean someone had deliberately cut the packet @Daphne Taylor?
If so, you may not be able to resolve it, although I'd hope G's World would do so.

If not, what seeds were they? Someone will be able to send you some if they have plenty to spare.  :)

  • Hi Fairygirl. thanks for replying, the seend packet was coaught in the invelope seal and appeared to have been sliced across so the tomato side was only partially there, and obiosuly empty. I sent pictures to GW via twitter and emailed but email says they wont reply and tweet was ignored

If that doesn’t work, send them a letter and enclose the torn packet.

  • Did you buy Gardener's World from a newsagent? If you did why go back to them and ask for the faulty magazine to be replaced. They do have a duty to sell you a pristine issue. It's no skin off their nose as they'll just return the faulty issue to their wholesaler for a credit.

If you get no joy @Daphne Taylor, and it's tomatoes you want, we have a seed swap thread on the forum. Someone will be able to send you some seed  :)
