Just back from the diy store. OH convinced it would be a good idea to pop out for some paint. I knew he had an anterior motive of popping in to Pret at the motorway services next door. I did remind him that it is a) Saturday b) the beginning of half term, and c) lunchtime, but he thought we might as well look in. Just as I suspected, it was total chaos, made worse by the big sections of parking blocked off to install loads of new Tesla chargers. Didn’t stop, and even struggled to find the way out. I suppose on the plus side, we did get the paint, and now have a very good appetite for lunch at home.
