under planting bush squash with radish

thought tell you of a planting combo
i use. i plant radish first sover in ring round
I  where plant the squash as squash expand i harvest
the radish just before squash fills the space,
this is similar to planting radish between rows of carrots.
you pull radish just as carrots sprouting.

    It's called companion planting.
  • yeh i am aware of that. but technically  it is called
succession planting. companion planting is when
     they growing  at same time.

  • 'as squash expand I harvest the radish' This means that they are growing at the same time hence 'companion planting'. Successional means growing then clearing one crop before planting out another in the same place.

They are both growing at the the same time, the radish is a catch crop that will be harvested before the squash which is slower growing and will take over that space.

You are not alone! I wondered if the poster does not have English as his or her first language.

The poster in question has popped up on this and various other websites in the past ...under other names too ... but we on the foodie forum know who he/she is ....  he/she certainly has his own particular "understanding" of many things ... and of course, no one else knows anything. 🤣

I just thought I was being 'fick' @Dovefromabove, although I have noticed the rather odd posts from this person.
I usually just scroll on by..... ;)
