Mashua like manure!

We'd half forgotten we'd planted a (single) mashua till we spotted a heap poking out of the ground today. It seems to have appreciated the manure.

...now to try to remember where the parsnips are...

Oddly they're surprisingly easy to clean ..
  • I planted 3 small mashua tubers last year in unenriched soil and they went bonkers sending their tendrils over an area 2x3m or so. They had really nice tropical looking flowers as well. I think my yield was slightly more than yours but that was with 3 tubers and no aftercare whatsoever. They seem a really good crop to grow.
