Is it too late to grow garlic now? Can I start off in pots?

I still have some left to plant up in pots outside; sooner rather than later though. The yield may not be as good, but you'll get some garlic!

Depends on the variety. I planted Picardy Wight in late March last year and got perfectly usable cloves.

I grow Picardy Wight too and usually plant towards the end of Jan/beginning of Feb and I normally end up with a year's supply of garlic. I've only just ordered them this year so hope they arrive quickly!
