This is my south facing garden. It is an awkward shape so there is a circle of bricks in the centre of the plot to draw the eye away from the fence. Before planting the area was mulched and grit was added. In early spring mulch is again added and most of the plants cut back, other than some evergreens evenly spaced to keep the interest. Tulips have also been planted to flower whilst the grasses regrow . This garden is not watered, no pesticides are used and I do not feed it. Sadly the Heuchera in the foreground has struggled so I swapped it for more Parahebe Perfoliata from elsewhere in the garden. I have found that conifers make a very pleasing combination with grasses. The garden is easy to care for and looks good all year.

It looks even better the right way up! I do like your arrangement and the heuchera doesn't look too bad to me. Hope you didn't get rid of it.
Edited to say if I were you I would try and change your user name. Yours is unbelievable!
