Does Curmudges go up to a certain amount of pages and then a new one is started B3?

Yes. It's an old thing. We used to have to do it on all threads but now just a few keep up the tradition. It isn't actually necessary any more.

To reply to your comment on 19. It sounds as if the price is reasonable but the frequency is not.

My window cleaner charges £40 for his monthly visit. I’m sure it’s over the odds but he always calls me Cap’n which is worth at least a fiver.

What size castle are you in? A tenner for a 3 bed house round here.
You don't stop doing new things because you get old, you get old because you stop doing new things. <3

That would be the same rate as here @fidgetbones. Tenner a month.

That's half the price of yours @B3 and a quarter of your rate @BenCotto :/
I used to do my own windows, but in this house, the upstairs ones don't all open well enough for good access [some fixed panes] so they'd need done from outside which is a PITA.
Maybe I could get a bungee... like Gromit in The Wrong Trousers.... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
