A quick update on the project in hand. I decided on a little occasional table for the outdoors. The four sides have been cut to form the legs and a wooden top has been made. I now have to file the rough edges on the metal, coat the inside with Kurust, stain the wooden top, and then assemble the whole. Expect a picture any day soon.

    That'll be grand @Uff :)
Nice bit of recycling or 're purposing' as they seem to like calling it nowadays  ;)

I'll settle for recycling FairyGirl and the wood is recycled too. All it cost was a tenner for the tank, I had the wood preservative in the shed.

Brilliant - and I hope you get lots of use from it   :)
Are you making the chair too?  ;)

It's different Lizzie27 and that's a fact. The top is stained the same colour preservative as the chair that FairyGirl mentioned so they go together well. I'll post a pic in the spring/summer when they are in situ.

I like that!  :) Nice wood top too, lovely colour. Very unique and durable.

Did someone say you need a chair?
