Please can someone tell me exactly what the hedge/shrub is in the picture that's all above the brick wall? I like it and don't know what it is. Thank you.

Difficult to see from the photo but it looks like Pyracantha
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Try and get a closer photo of the foliage and any berries. That will help.
