Alliums have started growing

hi all

i recently panted around 50 alliums probably around 2 weeks ago and have now noticed that they have started growing. is this a problem? these are the bulbs

i wasnt expecting to see them until april/may

is coming out too early going to mean frost/snow kills them? is there anything i can do to save them - lots of mulch maybe?

sorry the photo is upsidedown

thanks

Allium leaves usually come up earlier than the flowers and are starting to die back by the time the flowers open. Those seem very early, but it's probably just due to the mild autumn that we've had. I'm sure they'll be fine. They'll pause growing when the weather is cold and start up again when they're good and ready.
