Garden Vac

Being surrounded by deciduous trees, I am looking for vac to make life easier.
I used to have one when I was in France - can't recall the name but think it was an "own" brand.
Prefer a plug in rather than a cordless. Lighter weight the better. Hard surface as  well as grass.
If anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

I recommend not bothering .. nothing personal but they are an environmental disaster and a noise nuisance in my opinion.

My parents bought a garden vac. They found that sweeping the leaves up with a broom was actually less hard work, and quicker.

Hi Philippa, though I no longer subscribe to the Which Magazine, when I need such advice, I pop into my local Library, where I can read the magazine and access the Which website for free.  If your local Library offers this service, perhaps it would be worth considering?
