Penstomen Cuttings

I recently took some Penstomen cuttings from my garden , putting 4 into each pot .
They have now taken and are about 2 inches high . Should I now pot them into individual pots or should I wait until Spring . If I need to do it now should I also pinch them out , or leave that until Spring also .
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks.

You'd normally pot on when the roots are showing out the bottom. If your penstemons aren't at that stage, just wait until they are.  :)

Pinching out depends on the growth that's there, so again, it's a question of waiting until there of a suitable size for that.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Thanks very much for that Fairygirl. No roots showing as yet so will leave well alone.
  • Fiddling kills more of my cuttings than anything. If in doubt leave longer usually works for me. The ones I forgot I did seem to always do best  :D
