I'm happy!

A pile of clippings which we've piled up near the backdoor due to a complete makeover of our backdoor now has a carefully built arch shaped hole in it.
That can mean only one thing-we have a hedgehog in our garden! <3

Lucky you! You could plant some hostas  :) Are you going to put out some cat food?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • The cat food would be a bad idea for us,as a local cat uses our back garden as a toilet.
The fact that we have a hedgehog solves a mystery for us though.
Something dug a hole near one of our bulbs, but didn't damage it in any way-so it's possible it was the hedgehog digging for a worm-and a few other shallow holes as well.
  • we have just discovered our hedgehog friend has made a second entrance at a right angle to the first! No idea why,but it definitely wasn't there yesterday.
