Any idea what this is?

It’s a bit big for where it is in my garden so I’ve taken it out but I want to know if it’s worth replanting it somewhere else.

No it didn’t. I thought it might be some sort of boring sedge but Hemerocallis looks lovely.

That was my first thought looking at the way the stems emerge, but I couldn't be sure. Is there any more around in neighbouring areas?

No just that one sat in my border not doing anything and just being too big!

Could it be an Astelia? I have one in a pot that I love for the leaves.
