Canna care.

I have a beautiful canna in a container. Last year it was just a baby and I put the whole thing in my frost-free greenhouse where it grew to huge proportions. This year I need to store it safely but at some point I will have to divide it and pot up the pieces separately. Please could someone advise me about the best time and way to do this?

    keep it pretty dry over the winter in the greenhouse, and turn it out around late Jan / FEb and it should be easy enought to split it into seperate chunks.
