  • Thanks, I'm a little bothered about the roots, as it's very near a wall, will they grow under the wall?

    No - they won't be a problem  :)
    It looks very mature - you must have very suitable conditions for it to be thriving so well. 
    It's about to flower too. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Thank's, it's about 30 years old. I know little about caring for it, but have found taking off the dead leaves each year it then flowers, there were 10 flowers on it last year, it was beautiful.

    Yes - the dead leaves just need removed - same as with Cordylines. It's aesthetic more than anything.
    They're impressive in flower. I'm assuming you're coastal. They don't last five minutes outside here  ;)
