Plant ID - which is it?

Hi, can anyone settle an argument please.... are these Rudbeckia or Helenium?  They grow to about 6 feet tall.

    I'd say Helenium.
    As far as I know Rudbeckia dont' grow that tall.  Not to say that someone hasn't bred a giant one tho ;)
    @ Silversurfer would be your best bet for a definite ID

    There are tall rudbeckia,  R. maxima, gets 6ft.

    I think you have a helianthus though, there are several perrenial sunflowers that get that big and look like that.

    Looks like a rudbeckia to me.

    It's a helianthus maybe maximiliania. My rudbeckia herbstone is 7ft

    I think the leaves look more like Rudbeckia.

    I'd say Helianthus too. 
    Rudbeckias tend to have more of a 'cone'. Leaves look different too. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Ahh  :D still the argument continues then! 
    I meant helianthus not helenium... and my money is on that, but my mum swears it’s rudbeckia  :#
