Which rose next to Phyllis Bide?
Hello, I will soon plan a rose Phyllis Bide on an arch at the entry of my garden. Everybody says that it will be enough to cover the whole arch by itself, so I am thinking of planting a bush/shrub rose next to it.
Phyllis Bide has many colours in it (rose, yellow, peach…) and I don’t know what kind of colour put near it. I thought, maybe, Lady of Shallot could do, or Lady Emma Hamilton?
What shrub rise would you advise me for that spot? Considering it will never have sun in the afternoon. Thank you
