This year I seeded a Piccolo F2 Cherry (Tesco stock 2020) and ended up with 48 fruits on a single branch. Is this a lot for a cherry tom, or is it on par with others?
I've grown them this year because my daughter bought some and we kept seeds. It's a commercial variety so it produces masses of fruits. Far more than most other varieties. We're running out of room for them

Yeah. I was a bit surprised really. With so many fruits on one branch (about 220 on the plant) I thought the taste would suffer but they all taste great.
We've enjoyed countless bouts of bruschetta, but we're sick of it now I often pick, and eat them, when I'm in the garden anyway, so quite a lot don't make it into the kitchen.
