How do I attach a concrete statue to a concrete floor?

I have a concrete statue I would like to glue to a concrete porch so it will not be stolen.

You could stick it down with strong external tile adhesive or concrete mixed with SBR bonding agent. If you drill a hole in the floor and the base of the statue and then grout in a stainless steel bolt or dowel that will make it even more secure. You'll never shift it again though.

I’m pretty certain someone with the name of ST concrete U.K. will know how to fix concrete statues and concrete porch.

    Big coincidence if not.

  • Chemical Resin and reinforcing bar would do the trick but that depends how big the statue is, how thick the concrete is and how good at DIY you are. I think that drilling a hole into the statue reasonably deep 6 inches if possible, fill the hole with resin or epoxy putty push a piece of round steel bar about 12 inches long into the hole and wait for it to set hard, then drill a similar hole into the concrete make sure that it is deeper than the length of bar that is sticking out of the base of the statue, fill the hole in the concrete with resin or epoxy putty and sit the statue down with the steel bar in the hole in the concrete, prop the statue up to keep it level and so it can't move. Read all instructions/safety advice before using putty or resin, wear suitable safety equipment before drilling, don't drop heavy articles on your foot.

Why would your statue be stolen?  Go ahead and hit up with some concrete links....
  • Cover with smart glue - that way should anyone attempt to pinch your statue, they will remain glued to it.
Not only will you retain your statue but the offender can either be scraped off and handed over to Police or you could simply cover him/her with more concrete, let it set  and Bobs your Uncle - 2 statues for the price of one ;)
Unlikely tho it seems, apologies if this was actually a genuine query  :D
