Bulges on a cactus

My cactus has grown some bulges over the last few months. Does it mean my plant will grow flowers or simply new cacti? Many thanks in advance.

Lovely, new cactus,  you can gently take them off and repot separately.
My mum used to leave them to callous over, I don’t know if that’s really necessary though.  It’s what I do because she did. 🙂
