Monarda Talud - Powdery mildew

Happy Saturday!

So first year in for my Monarda Talud, looked great until got hit by powdery mildew, I think as they got too dry. Sounds like prone to this so thoughts on whether to cut back and try again next year (if so when to cut back) or replace altogether?

At this time of the year I wouldn’t worry about the mildew,  they’ll be dying off soon and disappear until next year, (when you need to watch for slugs😱)
I get mildew on my penstemon cuttings in GH but it doesn’t matter because they will be cut right back and will be ok again next Spring.
Not that you questioned those, just thought I’d say as it’s another plant with mildew that people do worry about.

So leave as is and hack down in spring?
