    Thanks @Marlorena, I have some spare shady spots where I could put it. How big does it grow?

    Your pics of Mutabilis reminded me why I wanted it so bad, it really seems like a bunch of butterflies over a shrub! Amazing!

    ...fairly short, but I prune mine right back... maybe 70-80cm, but no idea in your climate, maybe more with light pruning..?.. hot today.. almost forgotten what it's like here..

    ... aah yes I recall you did..  has it repeated well or not, would you say?  I'm wondering whether to replace something with it..

    @Marlorena Not much, but I have it in a weird spot (shady + competition from c. montana). I think it will grow there (it is a vigorous rose) but will need more time.

    ..oh ok.. next time I go to Peter Beales I'll check it out, see if it's still blooming..  they have it in a semi shady spot too..

    @Nollie I think Darcey Bussel prefers part shade rather than full sun. Mine is in its third year. Having already flowered in 2 flushes this season, is gearing up for the third.
