Identification

Is someone able to identify this plant for me please? It has suddenly 'appeared' in my garden over the last couple of weeks while we have been away. It is a couple of feet tall and very healthy.

    Datura stramonium aka thorn apple.

We have a handsome one in our veg plot at the moment. We’ll pull it up before it seeds.

They seem to pop up most years …  think bird seed is responsible.

I think that's a Nicandra Physalodes, Shoo Fly plant. The flower buds are quite distinctive.

Shoo Fly, I love it,  they pop up everywhere here and I leave them.
Philippa game me some variegated ones,  love them.

Lucky you.  I've been on the look out for seeds for a while.
