Mystery plant

Hi , could you please identify this plant which I am not sure what it is ?

    It looks a little bit like a veronica. Does it have blue flowers in early summer? I Chelsea chop mine in April to stop it flopping and then cut it back hard after it's finished flowering.  Someone else with more experience will be along to confirm / correct me!

    I think you're right @Grannybee, there are different types of veronica.
    I have one called "Crater Lake Blue" which can sprawl like that if l don't cut it back.
    Waiting for an expert to arrive  :)
