Yes. Snowdrops like a damper shadier spot - generally speaking though, so it may not be such a good location for them. Crocus are good for naturalising in grass though.

Thanks I’ll give it a shot this autumn, there’s a few weeds but hopefully it’s worth a try. I was going to use a bulb planter, but I want to sow quite a few, so may go for the “H” shape method.
You cut the turf in the shape of an H [ so 2 verticals and a horizontal] like the pages of a book, then fold back the two halves it creates after sliding a spade under the turf to loosen it. You can then dig out to the depth needed for the bulbs - it's mainly done for crocus etc which don't need much depth - and plant. The fold the turf back into place and water in to get it in contact again with the soil.
