Unknown tree in my garden - This tree has appeared and it is 10ft high - does anyone know what tree

    That’s several years old … it’s not appeared overnight.

      Could be a Prunus of some sort … has there been or is there a plum, cherry or similar in the vicinity?

    Can we see a clear photo of the leaves please.

    I've rotated and zoomed-in a bit - could it be an ornamental crab apple?  It would have been covered in blossom in spring.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I would say crab apple too.

    From that pic so would I. But it’s not a tree that’s suddenly appeared. It’s been there some years unless the tree fairy planted it when no one was looking. 😉
