Small plastic seed pots

Hello. I intend to have a good sort out of my shed when the grandchildren go back to school. I've got quite a few ceramic pots that I am going to advertise as they are not needed. I've also got numerous plastic seed pots that I don't want. Should I send them to the recycling centre or would you offer them to a local school for their use ???? Thanks

Unless they are the newer grey plastic pots, they aren't re cylable. Do you have allotments near you. You could put them free to collect on Free cycle, Facebook, some local news papers have a "free" section. Charity shops,or even,we did this with spare plants, just put them in the front garden with a sign saying help yourself, they went!

Freecycle and Gumtree (under "Freebies") usually work
