What's attacking my tithonia please. It's still flowering well it's just the foliage.

    It looks like some type of virus to me, but l can't really be certain. Bumping this up in the hope that someone will know and be able to help.

    They’re usually only grown as annuals here so it’s up to you if you want to enjoy the flowers for a bit longer then dump them, I can’t see any point in spraying the culprit now, (or anytime really) 
    Maybe best not to put them on your compost heap in case it’s a virus.

    I don't grow them, but I've seen similar  on tithonias in other folks' gardens so whatever it is, it's not uncommon.  Have you grown them in that garden before?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
