Bonny-looking pink flower - ID please

Hello all,
I was given this small shrubby thing last year - a small division from a much larger whatever-it-is, from memory it was brown and dormant at the time. Of course I didn't label it. Over the past few days it's sprouted these lovely pink flowers.
ID gratefully received :blush: with lots of thanks

    It is a Japanese Anemone.

    Maybe Anemone hupehensis Pocahontas????

    It’s one of the Japanese Anemones …. not sure which variety but someone will know. 

    They’re pretty things but  they can make themselves too much at home after a few years. Don’t be afraid to let it know who’s boss. They’re pretty indestructible.

    @Dovefromabove good to know they're a sturdy old vessel... they'll stand a fighting chance against my gardening 'skills' 😁

    No - they aren't a problem here at all really, but many people find them to be very invasive.  :)
    I don't like pale pink - I only grow the white ones  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I’ve got pink ones … I bought a white one … it must’ve had its label swapped … now I have several pink ones. 😂

    I have a good tall one called Andrea Atkinson that I got from the nursery here. Great in the far corner of the garden, and needs no support. 
    Whirlwind is lovely though - a semi double.  :)
