Seals need protection from louts

This is just awful … https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/man-harasses-pregnant-seal-8265444.  😡

There’s a link to a petition at the foot of the article … if you’re as horrified as I am by the moronic behaviour of an increasing number of visitors to our beaches, please join me in signing it.

Thanks. 😊

I'm always saying it - humans are the lowest form of life on the planet.
There was a report the other day about beehives being deliberately set on fire, and a vile cretin who battered a seagull to death in front of other families - and his own- on a beach a while ago.
Maybe that was the same one as this piece of ****.  >:)

and what chance has that poor child got.....

Seals are already protected throughout the UK so a petition isn't required.  What is required is the law to be enforced.  Unfortunately there aren't enough police to do that.  A petition to increase police numbers would be far more use.

I wish I hadn't read the comments section on that article. If the seal botherers didn't make you lose all faith in humanity then that would finish the job. :/

That's weird - my 'pooter 'went', just when I was about to post earlier, and so I repeated myself because it didn't seem to save the draft either.  :/
I would agree- more enforcement is needed, but there's never going to be enough policing of anything- unfortunately. They can't catch half the folk who commit all sorts of hideous crimes, so what chance have seals or any other wildlife got?  :(

What's wrong with people? Horsey is a great place to see seals, we went a couple of weeks ago as my kids are animal mad. We just sat 30ft or so away and watched them. As Horsey is a private beach it will end up closed to the public if this carries on.

Everyone needs protection from "louts" show their faces and let the majority of the population who are normal see who they are and then we can avoid the "louts".

Yeah we need to free up all the wildlife crime officers from having to deal with protests about species being driven to exinction so they can get back to stopping people driving species to extinction.
