Change in unleaded fuel

As of 10th September it has been reported that the make-up of unleaded fuel is changing.   Does anyone know how this will affect our lawn mowers and garden tools.  They are already saying it could affect some cars so surely it affects garden machinery

There was a thread about this recently. If you use the search function at the top of the page, it should bring it up.

The advice I was given is to use Super Unleaded petrol.
I have to use it for my car anyway, so for the past few years I've also used it for my mower with no issues.

There are additives you can buy,  which stabilises fuel.  It's a good idea to use it anyway if you have to keep fuel for machines for more than a few weeks.  Even the super unleaded goes "off" in a short time.
