    Persicaria. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Persicaria 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    It has sprung up in a small section where I sowed 4 different seed types a while back. Persicaria was not one of them.

    I don’t know where it comes from, it just turns up, maybe in bird seed?

    There are several forms of attractive and garden worthy persicaria but that one looks weedy to me.

    I'd agree with @Obelixx - lots of good ones which would earn their keep better than that one.  :)

    Seems to have been a good year for redshank … it’s turned up here for the first time in at least 11 years. A common weed of agricultural and newly disturbed land.
