    It's a lavatera. Maybe burgundy wine.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    It looks more like a Hollyhock to me.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    It looks more like a Hollyhock to me.
    There wasn't a pic when I posted - my eyesight isn't brilliant but even I wouldn't have missed that.
    Hardly worth commenting on as the plant has been ID'd now.

    @philippasmith2 … I sometimes find I have to wait a while for a photo to appear … think the hamster sometimes vacates his wheel and goes for a snooze  😉

    Yes I have noticed that before and quite a few get caught out by the delay.  I just thought it was a bit silly to say "There is a photo " when there obviously wasn't at the time I posted.
    Perhaps I'm just having an Antsi day  ;)
