Can anyone identify this tree?

I moved into my new home last summer and there is a small tree in the garden which I can't identify, despite asking various people including a tree surgeon!  It is about 12ft in height, has no obvious flowers in Spring or summer and I think it is evergreen.

Not normally evergreen, but it does look like the Rosemary Leaf Willow, Salix Elaeagnos.
  • Thank you both - it does resemble these - especially the Salix.  I do not recall it having any berries last autumn.

Looked like a tamarisk, but why no pink flowers?
  • I’m thinking willow. Should have catkins in spring and not evergreen? Where do you live?
  • East Anglia.   My husband thought it was evergreen - honestly I can't actually remember what it did in winter!   Will wait and see but it does look a lot like the pictures online of Rosemary Leaf Willow.
