Was wondering if anyone could identify this rather lovely looking 'weed' that popped up in my garden this year. I'd like to be able to find a bit of info about it if possible and see if it will come back next year etc.

That looks like Common Fumitory …Fumaria officinalis. Very pretty. 😊

Sadly it's an annual so unless it self seeds I won't get to enjoy it next year. Has taught me to leave a few weeds here and there though.

I think that like most weeds it self seeds  quite efficiently… it certainly pops up in my veg patch most summers.
