Sterlitzia Nicolai leaves turning brown

I have a beautiful sterlizia nicolai (or at least I think) and a couple of leaves have started turning brown in the last week.. I water it once a week and ensure it is always moist. I clean the leaves as well with a wet cloth to remove dust.
I am not really sure what to do as not really much of an expert... :(

    That looks like a quite small pot for so much top growth...birds of paradise do like to be pot bound, but wonder if it needs a repot. How long has it been in it?

    Thanks for your answer @amancalledgeorge ! It has been in the same pot since March 2021

    Hmmm then that shouldn't be the problem. That leaf won't improve, if it was mine I'd remove it and make sure it gets very bright daylight. The rest looks perfectly healthy, so makes me wonder if that was some impact that caused an injury to that one?

    There are 2 leaves right at the bottom that seem to be having the same problem (see pic) .. I ll remove those then. Should I remove them from the bottom or just the leaf (don't laugh at my ignorance please ahahah)?
