Phlomis care

Hi,

I recently bought x4 Phlomis tuberosa 'Amazone' from Hardy's and their site states full sun or partially shaded areas. Other websites say full sun is required though.

I have planted x3 in full sun but was wanting to plant the remaining one in a bed which receives around 4 hours of direct sun each day (between 10-2).

As other websites state full sun only, should I not plant it in the desired location?

Thanks.

I have a north facing back garden, but because it's unoverlooked,we get some sun somewhere. I have. both varieties, under trees and shrubs, part sun and they do fine
  • That's great, thanks. Don't suppose you have any images of yours so I can get an idea of how they grow? The pics online are never easy to get a true understanding!

If it's not raining I'll pop out tomorrow and take some
  • That'd be grand, thanks.
