Some advice please - Can I swop a Weigela with a Buddlea they are both only 18 months in position. if so would that be in the Autumn.

    Yes  :)
    Assuming the new sites are suitable in terms of soil and aspect etc, and you follow the usual guidelines of watering well first [if the soil is dry] and getting as good a rootball as possible. Plant at the same level as they were before, and water well afterwards.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    any time while they are both dormant, so between November and probably Feb or March

    I move stuff whenever it suits me without any problem, especially tough shrubs like those, but if you're unsure then wait until they're dormant  :)

    Thanks very much the Weiglia is in flower at the moment so I will wait until they have finished.  Thanks for all the replies
