    Good morning to you all.

Well  @Dovefromabove !!  August?    It's windy and cold here.  A real Autumn day!  The temperature dropped drastically to 15°C by 7pm last night - some rain.  It is 18°C this morning!!  Was it you, who took our blue skies and sunshine?!!

Quiet Sunday - feeling rather laid back.  Watching and enjoying the Olympics.

Have a pleasant day everyone whatever the day has in store for you.
    Tui

  • Good morning and Happy Yorkshire Day.
I shall be of out for a run soon. Weather is dry so either going out or pottering in the garden, maybe both. Or doing nothing much, which is also an option😂

    Loam wasn’t build in a day 🌻

    Morning @tui34 .... someone's nicked our sunshine  :s

We're watching the Olympics golf ...  the commentator keeps saying 'Now this is interesting' ........ but it's not  🤣

Tasks for today after inspecting the garden will be putting a piece of Silverside of beef into the slow cooker on a bed of onions, celery and carrots and ignoring it for the rest of the day ... then eating it with new potatoes, cauliflower and courgettes.

OH will be at work 11-3 so I'll do a bit of work in the studio, and watch the Olympics  :D

Oooh hello @SilviSherr ... you snuck in there ........ while you're out for a run, could you do me a favour?  You could do my run for me ...... my knees haven't been up to it for years ... so if you'd be so kind I can tick that off my list  ;)

And a Happy Yorkshire Day to you too ... it was Norfolk Day last week.   B)

    Good morning all.
I thought it was strange when you said the sun was shining @Dovefromabove, as it’s grey and cold here and that’s the forecast for the day. Sun must have gone back to bed.

We may go back to the pub’s beer festival, curry day today.

No sun, but quite bright here. Our two crows, regular visitors, have been sitting on the branches outside the bedroom window with their two noisy babies, waiting for us to throw nuts for them.
The plan today is to remove some brambles this afternoon, while OH watches the Grand Prix. However, I’ve been meaning to do that all week and still haven’t got to it.
    Hope everyone is doing ok.

Yeah, now the men's diving is finished I don't think any of Olympics is interesting either.

Good morning all, the sun has just disappeared as I've put the washing on. It's still very cool not Summery at all. Beans to be picked and courgettes galore.
Bats are making a good mess on the ground under the shutters so must sweep that up, OH will deal with the walls when they go back to winter roosts.
