Is this a weed I’m nurturing?

I have a feeling it is. I was hoping it was an aster. But is it clearly not?

    Yes, I class them as a weed. Looks like Horseweed, Erigeron Canadensis.

    Yes, weed, Borderline is right. Dig it up before it spreads a thousand seeds.

    I’m always the optimist hoping for something good but I did have a bad feeling about this one. It’ll come out tomorrow.
