Could anyone please help identify this climber for me please :-)   I cant see any sign of it flowering but it’s way over 6ft now and a very fast grower -but wanted to get thoughts before I pull it out 😊 thank you

  • Is it an evergreen, winter-flowering clematis 'Avalanche' or similar?

That's what I was thinking too.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'd agree too. It should flower over winter - approximately, but it will depend on your location and climate. Easier to ID it once it has flowers.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Cardiospermum halicacabum? aka Balloon Vine.

Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)
