fungal disease

I have been told that we have fungal disease in our lawn can this be treated in any way ?

    Mmm. I'm always slightly suspicious of these companies, and their motive.
    Have you got a photo @david.gregory63?
    For example, it's not uncommon for lots of little toadstools/mushrooms to appear in grass, especially in wetter conditions.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It might be red thread which can be treated by a high nitrogen lawn feed. No need to buy anything fancy or expensive though. It won't kill your lawn and routine maintenance should get rid of it.
  • Another chap came and said it needed a good scarifying which green thumb did last march! We've started to scrape the really bad patches and re seed them, but there are so many just wondering if there is anything easier!
